Calculated afresh using the current late grace. Original Enter/Exit times never change. No arrival recorded is not an absence decision. Payroll adjustments require admin review.

Face registration

Fast face scans

Reuse the one-time registrations on an entrance tablet or a teacher’s iPhone/iPad. The system recognises the person and infers Enter or Exit. A quick repeat asks for confirmation.

Supervised staff pilot. When an admin enables real recording in Schedule, accepted scans feed staff reports. Earlier demo scans stay excluded. Student attendance is separate.

Authorisation is separate from signing in. Only authorise a school-controlled entrance device. Your personal phone can use management without becoming a scanner.

Face recognition completion

• Available: shared registration linked to People, guided views, fresh verification, registration status and disabling.
• Available: touchless recognition, inferred Enter/Exit, repeat confirmation, device authorisation and revocation, encrypted pending evidence, private school Drive archive and reconciliation.
• Acceptance needed: unknown people and lookalikes; iPad/iPhone lighting and placement; printed photo, phone image and video spoof tests; offline/manual conflict tests.
• Pending before student rollout: validated anti-spoofing policy and real-device evidence/reconciliation acceptance.

Staff schedule

Defaults: 8:00 am–5:00 pm. Applies only to confirmed school days in Calendar. Existing start/end snapshots are preserved.

Report late grace

Applies immediately to every historical staff report and staff member's own summary. Student attendance and original movement times are unchanged.

Staff pilot recording

Manual fallback records observed staff movements. Disabling staff recording also pauses face movements.
